Dr. Augustine "Gus" Chow (Resident in Hong Kong)
Dr. Augustine Chow has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Harmony Asset Limited since 1996, a publicly listed investment company in Hong Kong and Toronto specializing in China and Hong Kong.
He also serves as the CEO of Pacific Life Sciences Holdings Limited.
From 1990 to 1998 he was the CEO of Allied Group of Companies based in Hong Kong. Prior to that he held various senior management positions with Brunswick Corporation and Outboard Marine Corporation.
Dr. Chow holds many directorships in publicly listed and non-listed in Hong Kong, China, UK and USA. He has also participated and managed over 50 direct investments in China.
Dr. Chow holds a M.Sc. from London Business School, Ph.D in Transfer of Technology from University of South Australia and an engineering doctorate in commercialization of radical innovation from City University of Hong Kong.
Henry Abbott (Resident in USA)
Educated and trained as a mechanical engineer in England and in the United States, with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. Henry Abbott has over 30 years of business development and project management experience, mainly in China, SE Asia and the Arabian Gulf countries.
From 1969 to 1979 he served as Regional Director of AMF Inc., Whiteplains, New York based in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and then as a Managing Director of AMF Overseas Corporation, Geneva, Switzerland, based in Dubai where he was in charge of Middle East business development. In 1979, Henry Abbott joined the United Trading Group and established UTC Singapore to develop and manage UTG's South East Asia businesses.
In 1986 he co-founded Asia Team Communications Ltd. Hong Kong. ATC established a joint venture with Xinhua News Agency and pioneered the emerging trade exhibition industry in China. In 1991 he set up PacRim Associates LLC specializing in business development consultancy. In the late 1990's he served for several years as co-director of consultancy unit of a public authority in Malaysia. PacRim has since 2001 been active in Real Estate Valuation and Financial Advisory Services in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Nassib Taj Hajjar (Resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain)
Mr. Hajjar graduates from the American University of Washington DC with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. Upon graduating from University Mr. Hajjar moved to Thailand to begin his career which ranged from manufacturing to finance and business development.
In 1987 Mr. Hajjar founded and was General Manager of Tai-Pan Textiles in Bangkok, Thailand. Over the next few years he worked throughout the Far East in textiles, trade and project development. In 1992 Mr. Hajjar co-founded and was Managing Director of Tripac Trading & Investment (UK) Limited which worked throughout Europe and in Iran developing major projects. Tripac then expanded into the Middle East opening a branch in Amman, Jordan.
In 2006 Mr. Hajjar co-founded Leftfield Developments WLL, Bahrain a project development and consultancy which he runs as its CEO.
