In March, 2007, Dr Augustine Chow joined the Board of Directors of Celsion. Celsion is dedicated to the development and commercialization of oncology drugs including tumor-targeting treatments using focused heat energy in combination with heat activated drugs. Celsion has research, license and commercialization agreements with leading institutions such as MIT, Montefiore Medical Center and UCLA Medical Center to name a few.

Dr. Chow has been involved with Celsion as an investor, through funds he manages, since 2001. The incidence of primary of primary liver cancer in Asia is twenty-five times higher than the United States. There are 300,000 new occurrences annually in China alone versus 20,000 in the United States. Dr Chow's unique knowledge of the region will be very helpful in expanding Celsion's clinical base in Asia.

On 8th February, 2008 Celsion Corporation switched its stock listing from the American Stock Exchange to the NASDAQ.
